Description
Commissioned by ~mewkat-the-kitsuneHer reasons for the stamp:
"1) If americans are going to whine about that they should see what they did to okinawa's civilians in 1945 (They rapped and killed civilians total deaths (in everyone): like 200000
2)Why don't you go and kill off al Qaeda if your so mad. You killed bin laden but not all of them.
3) If you care so much about terrorists maybe you should go and help syria Al Qaeda would love another weakened country to use."
Think about that before you get butthurt over a 9/11 joke and this is a fact, not an opinion or a statement.

Oh the hypocrisy.

Well. Considering the fact that he probably won't see his death coming. He isn't going to be buried under rubble and suffocate. Nor would he be thinking about his family for 5 minutes while awaiting his imminent and fiery death. At least he would hope for that. Its a faster death than suffocation.

Hmm, I need to read those, don't I? Forgot, Deviantart is more stringent than youtube. I still don't want to apologize though, as it was a little over a year ago, and it hasn't happened. And I respectfully ask that you don't report that comment as it was posted when I was thirteen and still going through the dumbass phase. Now at 14 my responses are better structured not relying on empty and hollow threats.

Perhaps not -- however...
1) Glossing over the Battle of Okinawa with a couple of half-wise statements is, frankly, irresponsible. Japanese forces were part of that equation, too, and equal contributors to the mess afterwards. Of course, this is to say absolutely NOTHING about Japanese-occupied lands and territories, the Comfort Women forced to service the Japanese army, or the experiments conducted on various prisoners of war, so on and so forth. Try again.
2) You first, missy -- unless, of course, you already have the necessary education, training, equipment, resources, and manpower to do so and don't mind coming out from behind the comfort of your computer to get your hands dirty. Oh, what? You don't have those things? You can't be bothered to come out and put your money where your mouth is? What a surprise.
3) See #2.
So, no -- perhaps 9/11 will not be the worst event ever in the course of recorded history. Nevertheless, the arguments given in support of that statement are juvenile and, to some extent, illogical -- and ultimately, do more damage to the sentiment than in support of. But I'm sure since this was a commission, she can always buy another one if she wants a do-over.

I remember when 9-11 happen, I was in high school 11th grade. I never even heard of terrorists until that event happen and the government all they could talk about was terrorists. I'm not joking either a couple of months after the event happen guess who showed up to our school? The military recruters showed up at our shcool with there propaganda, laptops with video footage and a song "Bodies" by drowning pool, food which was pizza and papers for us high school kids to sign. In my opinion all this war was about was Greed, Power, Money and Oil. Thousands of soldiers came home with PTSD, and a good portion of them either went crazed and or no longer can function in society in sustaining a suitable income. Among those soldiers were one of my friends from high school, he came back alive and not physically hurt but came back with PTSD. You know what my friend is doing now? he is on disibility income for the rest of his life and is only my age around 27 years old. My friend also said when soldiers got hurt in the military they were sent to campments where they morally destroyed them for being injured and not keeping up with the rest. They made them resite this, called "Profile Creed" based off the orignal "Soldier's Creed".
I will put links up of the Soldiers Creed and of the Profile Creed, I just googled them of course. No joke either how the hell did our government allow our wounded soldiers to be treated like this by our own military. I hope this gives you some inspiration to make the "Profile Creed" known around deviantart.

okay. i really have no problem with this but the first reason for this stamp really bugged the HELL out of me. think about how many people died here. if the first thing you think about was how many people americans have killed gtfo. that is stereotyping to the max. it's like saying "every single person that died in 9/11 was an insane serial killer and deserved to die".
i just
wat
i hate that reason. people don't seem to realize the reason other people get upset about this is because real human beings died. A LOT of real human beings died. not because there was it was attack on AMERICA THE LAND OF THE FREE HOW DARE THEM WE ARE THE BEST. (and if anyone thinks that they really are stupid).

Because people are that traumatized by that. Apparently, there is a drug in development that erases memories. Right now, it can make painful memories less traumatizing. You basically take it when you recall a traumatizing memory and (I honestly do not want to give a detailed explanation so go google it) the drug makes the brain remember a less traumatizing memory.

SonicWolvelina99 In reply to Maddy271 [2012-05-30 18:25:23 +0000 UTC]
True. But I thought we could give the drug to the people BAWWWW-ing about 9/11 so that they could shut up about it and move on because no one want to hear them bitch about it.
But yeah, the shit happening in Syria is horrible. I mean, it's been a year since the Arab Spring and the Syria Government still didn't step down. Besides, creating democracy with force will create less democracy. Other countries aren't involved in this. I can sort of see why though; remember when the US soldiers did a massacre in Afghanistan (I'm not sure. Either it was Afghani or Paki.)? It caused a huge uproar in the country and they are slowly dispatching the US soldiers. Now, they don't trust the US. Russia is trying to support Syria by air-force but they aren't sure.
