Miele entrò nell'arena trottando, tra il nervosismo di Stephen e il vocio del pubblico, Stephen salutò i giudici e quando la musica iniziò mise la cavalla al trotto raccolto, durante la gara l'emozione fu tanta, Stephen faceva tutto con attenzione, dando il meglio di se, Miele godeva del lavoro svoltò facendo ondeggiare la lunga coda, rispondendo positivamente ad ogni comando datole.
Mary che guardava l'esibizione dagli spalti si innamorò di come Miele si muoveva, elegantemente, sembrava quasi danzare su quella musica così dolce, il momento più bello fu quando Stephen mise Miele in piroetta, Miele sembrava godersi il momento, tra i fievoli raggi del sole...

-Salto ostacoli-
Miele sembrava eccitata all'idea di saltare, durante il riscaldamento però fece cadere più volte l'ostacolo e una volta lo rifiutò, Stephen capì che la cavalla era troppo agitata, era un'agitazione positiva, ma doveva calmare Miele per farla lavorare al meglio, inoltre il terreno non era dei migliori e aveva paura che la cavalla potesse scivolare, per cui la fece lavorare in piano, facendola saltare dapprima con piccole croci per poi passare gradualmente a degli ostacoli più alti...
In gara, quando il campanello suonò Miele cominciò a galoppare, quando si avvicinava agli ostacoli, prima della battuta, accelerava e Stephen aveva il cuore in gola, sul primo salto però decise di prendere il controllo, la rallentò, e Miele rispose bene al comando anche se tirò le orecchie indietro come scontenta della decisione, un salto dopo l'altro Stephen finì il percorso, era completamente sudato con il cuore che gli esplodeva nel petto...
Chiamò Davey raccontandogli di tutto quello che era successo, di tutte le emozioni che aveva provato

-Cross Country-
Era la competizione che Miele preferiva, durante la gara diede il meglio di se in ogni ostacolo, anche se ebbe un'incertezza a saltare un'ostacolo dopo di cui vi era l'acqua, ma Stephen le diede un comando preciso e la fiducia della cavalla ritorno a farsi sentire, quando entrarono nell'acqua Stephen allungò le redini lasciando che la cavalla si tranquillizasse..

-Show Jumping-
Miele seemed excited to jump, during the war-up, however, she dropped several times the obstacle and once rejected him, Stephen realized that the mare was too agitated, the agitation was positive, but he had to calm Miele to make her work at the best , also the ground was not the best and he was afraid that the horse could slip, so he did a ground work, making her jump first small crosses and then gradually move to higher obstacles ...
In the arena, when the doorbell rang Miele began to gallop, when approaching obstacles, Miele accelerated her gallop, Stephen's heart was in his throat, bu on the first jump, however, he decided to take control,he slowed down Miele, and she responded well to the command even though she pulled his ears back as dissatisfied with the decision, a jump after another Stephen and Miele finished their course, Stephen was completely sweaty and his heart was exploding in his chest ...
Stephen called Davey telling him everything that had happened, all the emotions he had felt..

Cross-Country-
