I decided to take up ~TheBalloonMan 's challenge and drew his OC, the normally scarecrow Tobias Fields, as a human!
I love Tobias, such a fun looking guy.

Yup, but you've got some great work from what I've seen on DA. They'll like all that cartoony stuff. They tell you to put in some still life or figure drawings too. You don't need to go crazy with that, maybe 3-4 things that look really nice. They just want to make sure you can do it. Scenes with dramatic lighting helps. Oh! and if you've ever animated anything before and you feel the need to include that, don't! no matter how good you think it is. Those portfolios were usually torn apart by the faculty. They want you to start with a clean slate. In fact I'd say 80% of my class never animated before Ringling, me included. It's not as scary as you might think. I was terrified, I actually never even owned a computer before I went there!
