All my deviant submissions right now are left-facing characters. I guess I'm just good with that pose?? Also OH MY GOD the hand possess were so daunting in this one but I think they turned better than expected, and done so in about two days. I actually have another sketch of her in my book that I'm use to figure out a colour scheme. Yes, I wanna add colour to this, and I HATE colour pencils.

Anyways, this character comes from deep within my archive of ideas set for future fan fictions. Since she's half wolf, I though the name Fenrir would be fitting, if you know your Norse Mythology. But this Fenrir is anything but. What world of fandom am I talking about? Fire Emblem! specifically FE10. Yes, she's wolf laguz, a silver wolf laguz. Her looks are obviously inspired by the wolf queen Nailah but I put in some twists of my own. A captain of the royal guard of the Hatarian royal court, Fenrir lived as an orphan on the streets before Nailah came into power. The wolf queen stumbled upon Fenrir stealing fruit from the guard barracks and was amused by her intuitiveness, and offered her a place in the palace. From there, Fenrir learned to fight, read and write, and gain some understanding of Hatarian politics (though she always loathed it). Fiercely loyal to Nailah for saving her from the streets and quickly climbing the ranks to captain, on par with the queen's right hand, Volug. Her laguz marking only covers one half of her body, hinting that her parentage may not have been totally laguz blood. Fenrir is quick to take physical action and intimidate people through her blunt attitude, which results in her distancing from any close friends, save the queen. In her tale, Fenrir comes across a cult of outside wolves who intend to unleash the horrors of a secret gate they guard and Fenrir must make alliances to stop them before hell breaks loose.

What is this cult? And what is the gate's secret? Heck, I don't know. I came up with half of this on the fly. Haha, my bad. That's how deep my documents are so I probably won't get around to writing her story for a while yet. Why did I draw this character now? Cause I couldn't get it out of my head after reading another FE10 fan fiction recently, and it was an excuse to practice drawing more.

EDIT: Hah, about an hour after uploading this I realized I forgot the most important part of the laguz: the tail. Good thing I never altered the picture at all. Aaaaaahhh... it was a long day. Going to bed now -_- zzzz...
