Description
I finished the construction of the Master Sword! This thing is four feet long and weighs about two pounds. I based the engraved runes off of the Hylian alphabet. It's really sturdy and I have no concerns about it breaking. I used the following materials to make this sword:

Balsa wood (for the blade)
Metal rod (laminated inside the balsa wood sections)
PVC pipe section (for the handle)
Thin cardboard (I used this for all of the raised structures except parts that are previously mentioned)
Metal washers/metal scraps (I stuffed the pommel of the sword with these to help balance it)
Wood glue
Hot glue
And, of course, every section is covered in Worbla. I used about a quarter to a third of a Jumbo sheet.

The sword took me about 20-25 hours to make.

I'll be working on the shield starting next week!
