Satya was once a professor in his past life, coming to the States to pursue political writing. Embraced in the late 1890s by a controlling and delusional sire, Satya broke free of the past life and the undead life he had. No one knows where he is, no one knows where he goes, and most importantly he doesnt know where he is anymore either. Questioning if immortality is even in store for him (and many. Many other things) or if he might have a limited time on his clock, Satya found his own way of surviving without orders from the other vampires. Ever since turning, Satya has an otherworldly desire to know more. He pursues his cravings and knows he exists to seek something--but whatever that something is, it never stays consistent. Most of his own past is unknown to himself due to how frequently the memories are changed. He blames rules, politics, order, and the reptile-men above for his curse and often lures those types to drain them.

Presently he has domain over a hookah bar in the city, with an underground club/safe area for other vampires to mingle and feed. Seeing himself as a mentor figure, he tries to aid those lost in their way--ironically leaving them behind to "find himself" moments later. Satya has several ghouls within the area that crave the same sense of knowing as him--and will come back night after night for answers. He never has one. His intentions are a mystery to most.

The effects of his vampiric curse is primarily in the mind, heightening and altering the meaning of his preexisting paranoid-schizophrenia. He's left alone to his own devices to try and make sense of this different way of coping. Satya is also keen on making it certain that those of the same clan as him will not be stigmatized for their way of unliving and does not tolerate mockery or shaming.

EXTRA
His reputation is a big "???!" but for the most part people know about the "tent" and how decadent his side of the street is. Rumors go that a night in the tent will be one you'll never remember--but your body will always ache to come back to it. Humans curious and pushy enough to keep going after Satyas warnings will often meet a grim fate.

His clothes are usually tattered and stained (the stains are....well....you can take a guess)

Is extremely open about his sexual pursuits and finds enjoyment in the macabre or more unusual styles of it. He frequently enjoys mass underground orgies--another part of his general reputation.

Used to be a smoker, but now he cant smoke anymore!

He has bugs inside his jacket and shirt usually. He feeds on them-- it tastes really bad but he enjoys the juices mixed with blood.
