This is my FIRST tutorial... so dont be expecting much!I know already that im not the best flasher around, or that there are other ways of doing this stuff... BUT!! i dont need to hear it
IF YOU HAVE NOTHING NICE TO SAY DONT SAY IT!
this tutorial is for the people who are a bit experienced in flash!
i have been working hard on this for a while now... xP i know its not amazing... i probably have a lot of typos and mistakes!
this has 517 frames! it will take a while to load *yay a preloader xP*

you can change "true" to "false" to make it so when it's NOT on the circle, it does *blah blah*, correct?

For some reason the hitTest doesn't work.
I did everything you said, even the dynamic text is working, but when the two objects are supposed to be making contact, nothing happens, at all.
I've used various different codes included ClipEvents but none of them are working.. Can you help me?

Why can' I put the hitTest Method in a MovieClip? (in the "if" statement of an "onClipEvent")

Very nice! I'm extremely impressed. This tutorial is much better than most of the ones they have at tutorial sites. 
The only things I would recommend is that you make the text last longer, and maybe put a semi-transparent bubble behind the text. That way you can still see what's happening in the background, but it makes it much easier to read.

I like it a lot. Next time, take out the toolbar at the bottom showing what else you're doing. Also, make the text highlightable so anyone could paste it into the animation
