Yay!! I sent Mr. ToonKritic his copy of this piece two weeks ago, and he got it today! (Or, at least, he uploaded the video of his opening my envelope today. You can check out that video here: youtu.be/yQ647btAnA8?t=7m9s )So, yeah, the two of us are engaged in a friendly little Keyblade battle, with him using his favorite weapon Two Become One and me using my favorite weapon Brightcrest! And sweet Celestia, drawing Keyblades is hard, but I like how they turned out!
TK, sorry that the copy you got printed darker than it was supposed to. I blame my printer for that...

Yeah, for a basic weapon, the Kingdom Key has a very nice design. ^_^

I'd like to see the kingdom key with a blue guard instead of gold, and a gold cross ring instead of blue. Its a design I want to have my character wield, but I don't know how to fit it in when he already has Oath Keeper and Pathfinder as his signature keyblades.

Humans are VERY tricky for me, so I tend to avoid drawing them. (I was actually very surprised that I was able to draw Rainbow Brite well enough when I made my entry for Blissy's review of the reboot, but I considered that an exception.)
But I actually see myself as a little bit more of a Pokemon Ranger than a Pokemon Trainer. ^_^

I can kind of get how you would be able to wield a keyblade but I can only image that someone like Toon would find it discomforting to wield one of those with their teeth.

As for your lack of familiarity with Keyblades...if you like anything Disney, then I think you'll enjoy watching walkthroughs of the Kingdom Hearts series. That's basically the hook that my sister gave me when she introduced me to the first game.

FullGrownGaming does a good LP of the first KH game. He's relatively clean (at least, I don't recall him saying anything otherwise; it has been a few years since I last saw his LP, so I don't fully recall), and he does commentary but not during cutscenes.
