One of the best things about working on your own game project is that it gives you the opportunity to study disciplines outside of your normal skill area. For Freedom Fall, I've been able to learn so much about animation, level building, design... even a bit of programming, when I was working on the beta. I'm very glad to be working with a dependable programmer now, though!

looks prty good... would like some "anticipation" on the falls thou... like when he lands there should b a lil bend in the knees or when he jumps he should crouch a lil then jump... this is from my experience... other than that the rest of the animation is prty good

This is the kind of art graphic I WANT to see in my games. I'm getting tired of the "more life like" graphics that EVERYTHING seems to be having as of late. I long for the simplistic, yet actually challenging games and graphic styles of the games of old. You know. Games that you actually had to be good at playing in order to get anywhere, not just games that anyone and their babies can play and win because they made them too easy. I miss the old 2-D rolling graphic adventure game.
So... how will this game be coming out? Do we get a test drive of it? Please say yes...

Thanks, you're pretty close! It's a down-scrolling platformer, so expect a fair bit of falling and parkour action.

Jumps should be on a ballistic arc otherwise it's just very short flying, looks wrong.
