Description
EDIT2 (8/7/17): This tutorial might be revised for just PMX Editor only! I will try to get around to it!EDIT: Sometimes it doesn't always work. If it doesn't work the first time, Make sure the X Rotation bones say bone instead of relative when adding the child bone. Another method is retyping in the bone numbers for the X rotation bones parents and child bones. Hit enter so it registers. Thank you to for helping me explain this tutorial a bit better!
Here's another Tutorial That I made from first model problem experience. It took me a week to figure out so what I did to figure this out was to look at my other good working models. Β I hope this helps you.

Alot of people are experiencing this, especially the one's who are unfamiliar for the groove bone...
Any reason why the torso doesn't move on some motions? (WAVE, LUVARATORRRRRY)?
Anyways this tutorial is helpful! Β

I'm glad I helped you and Sometimes you have to use semi standard bones. The thing is your model is missing a waist bone. I tested that out on a model and that seemed to be the problem. To add a waist bone, it needs to be behind the lower body bone. It's parent bone needs to be the groove bone. it needs to be labeled "θ °" in Japanese. I hope this helped you. If not I'm sorry.

I'm having a problem similar to this but...not really at the same time? With my model it's not his arm, but instead his sleeve. I've tried the tutorial before but it hasn't worked all that well for me- maybe because I'm using PMX Editor and not PMD.

I think it is the x rotation bone. is the wrist bone the child bone to the x rotation bone?

I think so? Though I'm not really sure. I can barely understand the bone window of my PMX because it's in Japanese.Β

It's ok. I'm sorry my tutorial isn't helpful enough since it requires a PMX to PMD switch. Mine is special and not many people have that kind of editor so I'm sorry.

I've tried everything, including this, and the twist bones just won't work.
They show up as connected in PMXe but still make noodle arms, and in MMD they don't appear connected at all and continue noodling. I took a screenshot:Β sta.sh/01ukpshv2edw I'd really appreciate some help. So many motions use these bones and I can't have them dance with broken arms...

Could you please help a friend of mine with some models that have this problem? Both she and I have tried to do this, and another tutorial as well, but we couldn't get them to work.

Thank you so much! I'll note you a download for the first few (I've marked all the models that need their x-rotate bones fixed in the folder with "NEEDS FIXING") , I don't have the other two models to send yet.
