Description
EDIT2 (8/7/17): This tutorial might be revised for just PMX Editor only! I will try to get around to it!EDIT: Sometimes it doesn't always work. If it doesn't work the first time, Make sure the X Rotation bones say bone instead of relative when adding the child bone. Another method is retyping in the bone numbers for the X rotation bones parents and child bones. Hit enter so it registers. Thank you to for helping me explain this tutorial a bit better!
Here's another Tutorial That I made from first model problem experience. It took me a week to figure out so what I did to figure this out was to look at my other good working models. I hope this helps you.

Are you still active? I have a HUGE problem. My model's arms look like twisted pasta in MMD. ;v;

Yes, I'm still on. I'm currently on a road trip. Make sure the arm and elbows are the parent bones to the X rotation bones.

Hey, would you happen to have a tutorial on how to attach wings to a model?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
RitaLeader14 In reply to Seychellesluv1 [2016-06-17 05:29:21 +0000 UTC]
It's just connecting the wing bones to the upper body bone. So make sure the upper body bone is the wing bones' parent bone.

RitaLeader14 In reply to Seychellesluv1 [2016-06-25 00:13:18 +0000 UTC]
Take the number of the Upper body bone and put in the wings parent bone boxes. Example: Let's say I have the upper body labeled number 5. I go to the first wing bones for both wings and type number 5 in their parent bone boxes.

It's alright. My tutorials don't fix everything. What I can tell you is make sure the X rotation bone's parents are the arm and elbow bones.

Hey there! I have been having this issue a multiple times that when i load a motion onto the models, the entire arms move accoring to the motion, but somehow stay low or are lowered and not how the model SHOULD be dancing.
An example here in my old video, pay attention to Tianyi's hand & arm movements.
youtu.be/zzo0FBxH4Os
Is there any way to fix this issue? is there anyone else with the same issue?

Well, the motion that you used required a few bones like a second upper body bone, A tesuji bone, and Udesuji bone which I don't know what those are.

Yes I agree that it is hard to understand it wasn't that easy to explain either. Just make sure that the elbow and wrist are the x rotation bones parents. It should be fixed.

Alright but calm down. There is no need to be like that. Anyway, I don't know what "Doo doo black crap" is for MMD model bones. Make sure the Parents of the X rotation bones are the arms, elbows, and wrists. My tutorials may not help everyone, but what I do is try to help them. I have a PMD/PMX editor. A program that has both editors in one. If you have PMD editor, try loading your model into that, fix the bones, then open it in PMX so It will be instantly converted when you save it. Again, I'm trying all that I can. I'm sorry if I'm not helping. But I do hope that you can understand that I'm not a miracle worker.

I have the same editor, and its cool never said you were and its alright..I have asked a friend of mine to fix the modles up hopefully she can. I just wat to learn at my own pace because i dont wish to keep bugging people to fix this or that ; - ; makes me feel bad.

You loaded a PMX model in PMD editor... Just... HOW DID YOU DO THAT ?!
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
RitaLeader14 In reply to TheLollipopSugar [2016-01-09 17:20:00 +0000 UTC]
I have a special PMD and PMX editor. They are combined into 1 program. There is a "Infromation" button at the top and it says "PMX/PMD automatic switching" and "PMD to edit switching." So even If I load a PMX model into PMX I can also switch it into PMD even though It's PMX.

I'm having a problem with the x rotation bones in the upper arm and I don't know how to fix it; could you help me? ;n;

RitaLeader14 In reply to xKasumixMonster [2015-12-12 17:01:47 +0000 UTC]
Make sure that the X rotation bone is connected to the elbow and wrist. For example, the X rotation bone on the upper arm should connect to the elbow bone make it connect to the elbow by putting what ever the elbow bone number is in the child bone for the X rotation bone. If you look at the tutorial again. You can see where I connected the X rotation bones. Do the same for the other X rotation bone and the wrist.
