Description
After drawing the basic shape everything needs to be, I shade the darker parts of the flower to add shadows and the parts that come out from behind others. The shading is put down with the intention of being colored over so keep it light enough so that when you color over it you'll still see the color on top. This works as a base coat for the color and will give the color depth, and help give shape.
