This summer, finally, I gathered all my courage to redraw this ( ritu13.deviantart.com/art/Ange… ) old drawing of mine. This is one of the pictures in a book ( E. J. Allibis: Unika). It was my first 'big' drawing after reference picture, and I was very happy with it at the time. Then, I put my book somewhere and couldn't find it for a long time now, but then I realised I could look up the picture on the internet!

My main mistakes in this drawing are her right arm (on our left) , I'm not entirely happy with the green part of the background, and her face could resemble the reference more. Otherwise, my main improvements are the colouring, the wings, the anatomy, and the TIGER!!!

Not part of the feedback corner, Im checking your artwork out of curiosity.
I must say you have a way with colors! I especially like the use of complimentaries violet and yellows. The tigers head is drawn and colored beautifully. Could use some solid, dark outlines.
Other than that, this is nice work! Dont let your dissatisfaction stop you.

Thanks! (Actually, I'm trying to draw without solid outlines, when I started, I used at first black outlines, than colourful, but I like it most this way -even though it's quite hard to do

I can never understand how pencil colour works... the edges kills the depth but i guess it is fun to work with...

I think you've done a great job rendering the original artwork! I also checked out your old drawing and I just got to say that you've made a huge improvement! Especially in this drawing I like her wings, which are gently colored and the fabric's shading is successful as well. Only thing where you could improve is her right arm (you could make it thicker and it seems a little stiff) and you could make some anatomy repairs with the tiger. Anyways, good job!
