That is not a wheelchair. The first time we see a wheelchair in Equestria was in the "Rainbow Falls" episode during the scene whereΒ Rainbow Dash is in an actual wheelchair faking her injuries to both Ponyville (Fluttershy and Bulk Biceps) and Cloudsdale (Spitfire, Soarin, and Fleetfoot).

This is actually a very moving image. I just don't know, I've seen ponies on MLP with wheelchairs, but this, is just something unique.
