this is possibly the least messing around with a photo i've done to get it to a state i'm happy with.this is "the children's wonder book", a lovely old leather-bound fairy tale book that had the names of myself, my uncle and my grandmother, and i think was published before they legally had to write copyright [whatever year]. or perhaps that page has just fallen out. either way, it's a beautiful book.

I think the extreme close up really gives a sense that this is precious to you. You are spending time with all all it's details- not just its words. Worn from use an age and passed down by loved ones. It's a nice feeling!
