Description
It’s probably about time I did a sketchdump, so thank you to for the idea! The irony is that I don’t know that all of these qualify as what I call ‘sketches’ , since several of them are basically fully-finished drawings that I just never felt like posting by themselves. But, semantics.

Top Left Corner:
Felt like doing my own nontraditional version of what a werewolf could look like. I know, this has been done plenty of times before, but considering how I have several species (and characters) who look like wolf people but AREN’T werewolves, this seemed like a fun exercise. ^^ I quite like how she came out, esp. her funky hair and her face. Her feet could’ve turned out better, though. Still not very masterful with drawing bare feet, ‘mfraid.

Top Right Corner:
These two were on a page of doodles I did one day less than a year ago, but I always really liked how they came out. Basically I drew the girl, and then I drew her as a werehusky. I really like how the werehusky’s hand turned out, and that shawl thingee, which was tricky to draw. In fact, I just like the werehusky version better in general, but that’s probably ‘cause I’m not sure I like the girl’s face. Her legs turned out really good, though.

Middle Left:
I drew this earlier this year for a friend/fellow staff member (Chaska) at the Christian camp we both worked at last summer, intending to send it to her as a thank-you for mailing me the staff video. Sadly I never quuuite finished it (it really needs a good inking), but I really like how it came out, and I’ll probably link her to this page now so she can finally know it exists! ^^ That’s her dragonsona playing Ultimate Frisbee down there, as well. She plays a mean Ultimate Frisbee, that girl. Dragonsonas are incredibly fun to draw. FYI, I imagine her being green with orange stripes, but I’ll leave the final call to her.

Middle Right:
Speaking of dragonsonas…honestly, this one embarrasses me anytime someone flips to it in my sketchbook, because it is SO hard to explain. XD Basically while I was gone in 2010, clued me in to the fact that the were drawing themselves as centaurs. This was my attempt at it. The wings look a little clumsy, but I like how I gave myself sort of furry fingerless gloves with the horsehair on my arms. And those are probably the best horse legs I’ve ever drawn!

Bottom Right:
Hey look, it’s me! Now let me explain. XD For a very short while, before my internet hiatus in 2010, I was in a small Kingdom Hearts RP called World Refugees. This RP was awesome because you actually got to BE THE CHARACTER – i.e. self-insertion. AND you could go to ANY world owned by Disney – including Narnia at the time. So I had myself wake up on Narnia as a fawn, freak out a little, and make friends with a few Narnians, chief among them a little talking mouse named Silandro who declared himself my protector since I was a young woman with no means to defend myself and clearly no clue what was going on. (This was pre-Prince Caspian time, btw.) I was rescued from said world by other World Refugees, and Silandro, even after having things explained to him and having it pointed out that time runs differently outside the Narnia world and he might never see home again, decided that he would still come with me because he felt it was his duty to stand by my side. (I can’t get over how passionate and noble Narnian mice are, in the books or movies; Silandro pretty much embodies what I love about them. ^^) He was really fun to play, and I wish I could have done more with him before I cut myself out of all RPing because it was stealing my soul (and my sleeptime).
So, yeah. Here is the one and only piece of fanart I ever did for that RP, of me with a bow and Silandro being all awesome with his rapier. This wasn’t an ‘everybody has a keyblade’ RP, so you have to figure weapons out yourself. I’ve always wanted to learn archery, so I went with that. Silandro still rocks and I still love how he came out in this picture, and this is probably the only time you will see a drawing of me looking even remotely epic. XD

Bottom Left:
Finally, last but not least: Eoin! I created Eoin to go in the world of Gyptiatalia that and I developed based around her character Wilfred. Basically it’s a magical land the size of Montana or some state like that which resides underneath Canada…or maybe it’s the size of Sasqatewan or however that’s spelled and is actually under the United States, I’ll have to check my notes. And everyone there can change forms between a human form with a theme (Wilfred is a British guy with a monocle, Sage is a cowgirl, Sarah is a 20s Flapper Girl, and Eoin here is clearly a Scottish swordsman) and a strangely-colored animal who wears one piece of the clothing they would normally wear as a human. In Eoin’s case, he turns into a dark-red otter wearing a breastplate.
Eoin is fun, because despite being an otter, an animal normally known for being fun-loving, he is very serious and is actually the bodyguard of Wilfred (which is kinda funny, since Wilfred turns into a T-Rex and is ten times bigger than Eoin’s otter form). Eoin actually hates being in his human form, which means he is constantly annoyed at Wilfred and their friends Sarah and Sage because they are CONSTANTLY getting into mischief that puts them into potential danger and which thus forces Eoin to have to go into human mode to be able to actually be of any help in getting them out of said trouble. He spends a lot of his time alone, reading (yes, there is irony that an animal who lives most of his time in the water likes to read) and trying to avoid Wilfred while still being on call to do his duty. He’s very serious about his duty, too. So all in all, he is very srs, and I love him. ^^
Reason I never finished/posted him: His boots to this day drive me crazy. They looked awesome in the sideways concept sketch, but those metal things on the front of the feet just DON’T look right from a front/3/4ths angle. >.< Someday maybe I will vanquish them, and then you may get to see a color version!
