RE the problem with the "add bookmark" window having the same text and background colou, there's a solution to the problem here [link]

You need to add the following (one line, not two) to userChrome.css

#editBMPanel_folderTree > treechildren {color:black !important} to

hi,
this is my very favourite theme.
I've been using it for ages,
but now i'm having problems coz i used
favicons in the bookmarks toolbar.
is it possible to have it as an option?
in the version for FF2 it was all okay,
no large spaces (like in the first ver for FF3)
and no hidden favicons like now.
please, if it is possible
put it back as an option at least.

thanks in advance
(eh... i got used to it)
Tom

Hi,
I found another bug in FF3: when opening a new tab, the tab bar glitch for half a second, showing a cursor in the left side of the bar. See screen capture - [link]

Also, any chance making Userchrome.css compatible with FF3 (or atleast rounding the urlbar?)

Thanks,
This is the finest FF theme by far!

Riz:

i love your themes but the latest version in FF 3 has a serious problem on teh Mac and PC side with the "add bookmark" dialogue box. In the PC version you cannot see the actual folder names in teh drop down menu in the mac version ther is no options as to where to choose the folder. The dialogue box is absent. Final comment your fonts are a little large. Also I look forward to the Ifox metal update as I really like that one!! Thanks for your hard work.

Thanks for the update!
There seems to be a problem with a button. I've screen-capped it: [link]

Also small icons do not work. Forward and back icons with text turned on look glitched.

Hope this helps.

Great update!
But why the Userchrome.css tweaks ain't working?

@gergoke: I'm with you about the font size in the bookmark tab, I also preferred it smaller.

Hello Riz,

thanks for the theme! It's totally awesome, I love it. But I have one question, which font is good for iFox? Becouse the bookmark line fonts isn't look like in the iFox 2.5.1. If you want, I can send a screenshot.

riz4l In reply to gergoke [2008-06-27 19:32:06 +0000 UTC]

The new ifox does not use any specific font, it uses the your default system fonts. Please send a screenshot of what you are experiencing.

gergoke In reply to riz4l [2008-06-27 20:16:40 +0000 UTC]

Here we are: [link]

As you can see, in Firefox 2 the font of bookmark-bar (below the icons) is much smaller and looks better than in Firefox 3. The question is that you could make it to the same?
I really like this style, becouse there are many more space for favourites at the bar (and that font looks better).

ps: on the screenshot Firefox 2 is with iFox Metal, but that isn't make a difference, becouse that is looks exactly the same in iFox Original.

So Riz, is there any solution for this problem, or I should put up with this? And there is another thing, but I dont wanna spam, so approx. when will you release the iFox Metal? I am really waiting for it

awesome, thank you so much

the only thing i have to criticize (sorry), is the bookmark navigation-bar: [link]

why is there so much space between the links and why are there the favicons displayed?
in the firefox 2 version of ifox i was able to put 10 more links in the navigation-bar as right now...

is there any reason for that?

riz, first of all, heaps of thanks for your themes. i absolutely love them.

however, i have a pressing question and it has been bugging me for weeks.

how do i configure the title bar (i.e. minimise/maximise/close buttons) in FF to look like the one in your screenshot?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

riz4l In reply to b3rkowitz [2007-01-25 22:24:21 +0000 UTC]

this is done using another application called windows blinds for which you can download a free trial at [link] . The theme is steve greniers mac osx theme for window blinds just google it and you will find the theme.

Hi.
This is really a great theme, I'm using it all the time. I had tweaked it a little to fit "Muku" style.
I have noticed, that you have corrected a menu problem in the 2.4.2 version but with a cost of losing a skinned background. Is this the only solution?

Gideon007 [2006-11-13 23:53:16 +0000 UTC]

Hi,
I like the iFox, especially since the original BlazonBoch and other derived themes don't seem to get updated anymore.
I have two problems though:
- The Button for the Sage extension is too big and mouseoverlay doesn't work. The button just hides completely if you hover the mouse over it. Same holds true for the flashblock extension. This affects also iFox Metal. In iFox Graphite the button is just too big (for Sage).

- The Search bar (google, ebay...) is not rounded at the right end anymore.

👍: 0 ⏩: 2

Gideon007 In reply to Gideon007 [2006-11-14 21:01:42 +0000 UTC]

Another note
The search bar was only not rounded because I had put someting in userchrome that hid the search go button, thus the rounding wasn't in

👍: 0 ⏩: 0

Gideon007 In reply to Gideon007 [2006-11-13 23:58:19 +0000 UTC]

another thing I noted is with the "close tab button" (the one that shows at the right end of a tab). It always shows unless you hover over it, then it diasappears. Should be the other way round.
Also the close tab button is not vertically centered but is close to the lower edge. This happens with the "Tab Mix Plus" extension and the tab bar on the bottom.
If needed I can put a screenshot up.

Gideon007 In reply to Gideon007 [2006-11-14 21:26:36 +0000 UTC]

That problem is caused by TabMix Plus, temporary workaround at

Jules05 [2006-10-30 14:37:07 +0000 UTC]

Thanx for iFox. All the other themes elements look overbloated now. It is also one of the few that hasn't been plagiarized.
Such a good look makes one more picky. I have a small issue with the status bar : all the elements are stuck together with no space in between. Is there any way to fix that through chrome.css or other easy tweaking ?
Beautiful job anyway.

riz4l In reply to minimeART [2006-10-28 10:42:54 +0000 UTC]

iFox is the brightly coloured, stripy, sharp theme. Ifox smooth is uses more softer colours and gradients, no stripes and is overall a smooth version of Ifox.
