Description These are a few screens from the Weatherwise mobile app for iphone and android devices. The app is creative way to visualize weather data. Rather than just icons or clip art its fully illustrated scenes for each condition and time of day.

Additionally there are different themes you can have. One is the tree, another is lost robot etc. The graphics move based on tilting the device. Rain and snow are handled with a particle effect system

Well, the only graphical point I have to note is that the "Partly Cloudy" illustration (standard theme) is to dark. It kinda suggests it displays the twilight. Maybe because the sun is just above the horizon and the reddish-shine.

Besides of that the UI and animations look really great and imho the right amount of meteorological data is displayed.
It's focused on presenting the overall ambience of the weather rather than lots of numbers - and this doing very good! I like it. Might replace my standard weather app.

Sadly Apple doesn't allow apps to be used on the lockscreen. This app would be perfect for that.

Thanks, i will take a look at the partly cloudy. You are looking at partly could at night Im assuming? I think you are seeing the partly cloudy for sunset or sunrise. It has a full day cycle, although to get sunset or sunrise is pretty rare since the chance of seeing that state is about an 1 hour a day.

It was around 2 or 3pm when I first saw this, early afternoon. Twilight is starting around 7pm these days.
Now, 5:20pm, it still looks the same. I made a screenshot and uploaded it: cl.ly/6cOl

After starting the app again, I noticed, that the illustration switched from day- to sundown-view within the first second. Yepp, looks like a bug for me, too. Might be a location problem? Whatever - I'm sure the developers will fix it.

Glad I could help you anyway. Keep up the good work!
