Description
This was made due to popular demand on phantomoftheopera.com. My version of Erik unmasked. It combines the facial deformations of Michael Crawford, with the eyes and noseless-ness of Erik as described in Leroux's novel, and Gerard Butler as well. My poto.com (where I am known as NoOneWouldListen/NOWL) signature is along the bottom edge.Update: Here are my other Lerik-Gerik pictures on dA.

Yeah I want the link!
Do you mean like Sweeny Todd the musical? Or is he doing his own version?

I love you, okay? That is probably one of the best photomanips on Gerik I've seen. And I loooove Leroux!Erik as well as ALW!Erik! Even their deformities! I felt Gerik's "deformity" was too small and unimportant to make such a big deal out of in the movie. Anyways, I absolutely love it.

Tsk, now you see? Erik's deformity would have been much more believable if it was like how you designed. XD Oh well. It looks awesome <3

The one in the movie was a bit pathetic.

it was really the only think I didnt approve of. His deformity was more like hair loss and bad acne, I think the general public would have accepted that. XD But if his deformity was too the extent like you designed, well, then his treatment would have made more sense.

Yeah, it even would have made sense if he'd at least been more similar to Michael Crawford's make-up in the stage musical. The movie could definitely have done better.... or, worse, rather. lol

This is a really impressive make up job what did you use? I have some 3d effects putty and such, but I could never do what you can do.
Very awesome work! ^_^ *faves*

Not make-up... It's a photo-manipulation. Sorry if I confused you.

You know, if they spent a little more money on make-up for the movie, and computer editing, they could've gotten something close to this. I think that it would've had a better effect than what I like to call "Bad acne and a horrid sunburn." Or atleast did something more along the lines of the origional deformaty they did for the stage play. *rolls eyes* ah well. This is very well done, and when I first saw it I was all "What the hell?!?"

It's brillant but still look too much like Butler for my tastes.
But it's what I called a fucking good photomanipulation !

Again, another brilliant photoedit. The way you do these is so seamless. Just one little knit-pic: The nose seems at a slightly off angle.

Yeah, I had a little problem with the nose myself... But, live and learn. Hopefully I won't do that again. Thanks for the advice.

Thanks! Yes, I used that picture of Michael Crawford as a reference. The original picture that I went over was of Gerard Butler, from the 2004 movie. I'm glad you liked it.
