U.S. Air Force Lockheed F-104C Starfighter 60901/FG-901, which set operational (vs. testing) speed and altitude record of Mach 2.5 at 92,000 feet in 1962 while assigned to the 479th Tactical Fighter Wing and based in Germany, is back on display at the New England Air Museum (Windsor Locks, Connecticut) after restoration to 1962 condition.
