Description
The Ffestiniog Railway's second 0-4-0 steam locomotive, Prince, was built by George England in 1864. Unlike No. 1 Princess, it is still operable, though usually kept in the Boston Lodge Works across the Cob from Porthmadog. I did see this large scale model of Prince on display in the Porthmadog Harbour Station gift shop. Its livery and name are similar to the Rev. W. Awdry's The Railway Series/Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends character it inspired, Duke the Lost Engine, though Prince was never lost.Related content

It could be 1:13.7 scale on 45mm track, which is what modellers use for the 2-foot gauge.

You took the words right out of my mouth on who that engine reminds me of.

As soon as I walked into the gift shop, I saw this and got a flashback to watching Thomas episodes.
