Where is Bovington? I thought it was near London but it seems to be farther away.

I think one of the figurines is indeed based on him.

The M4 Sherman is my Favourite US tank of the war and the E8 was a good variant. Fury is also one of my favourite WW2 films of modern times (and one of the few to focus on tank warfare).

It's strange we don't see more WWII tank-centered films; maybe there aren't enough operable tanks left over, or maybe it's the cost of maintaining army tanks.

It wouldn't be much of an issue for those mass produced Allied WW2 tanks but its just getting access to any Axis vehicles that are still operational. A point I'd like to add is one way fury could have been improved. instead of a just a battle against a tiger I, I would have liked to have seen fury go up against a tiger II. I know there is still one operational example in France.

I see...I've heard there is a tank museum in France that, like Bovington, also has a large fleet of operating tanks. Perhaps they could team up for another movie? I'd also like to see something on the Russian front, like the Battle of Kursk.

yeah. The largest tank battle in the history of warfare does deserve its shot at Hollywood glory.
the museum in France is called the musee de blindes.
