Poor Eric, he wanted peace for mutants, and he was doing for Charles too, but he was doing it in the opposite way to Charles. Eric and Charles are such complex and powerful characters.....

awwwwww so sad, I can actually imagine this happening in the later movie. ah ha ha I just had a thought. this is so random but I just thought that this lookes like the same ending for Phantom of the Opera. sorry my mind makes random connections like that. I love this pic though very well done.

well in PotO, Raoul visits Chirstine's grave and finds the rose. Eirk is litteraly Erik (phantom) leaving behind an item to remember him by, shoing he has not forgotten

I litterally went "Awww" out loud when I saw this...
It's..the bromance..it's SO sad. SO sad especially when you see how they start and the ending...I rewatched X3 after seeing First class numerous times and watching Magneto defend Charles after he'd died...it was heartbreaking.
