Description
Layout the original sketch in 1:12 scale on butcher paper. I just draw what I need, some things change as I go along. I prefer this method to computer because I can see the scale immediately rather than CAD and print just to discover I need to tweak something. I make almost everything from scratch but for the brickwork the space between bricks are already set (store bought sheet bricks by Houseworks) so I have to set the spacing, height, width etc of windows based on whole or half bricks. Beyond that, a sketch works just fine.more millwork construction>
