you know those book covers that go over the actual book? well this piece was painted on the back of one of those... off another old book i found in the trash... i liked how the edges looked and the folds and stuff and decided to paint a piece on it... actual size is 10 in. wide by 8 1/5 in. tall painted with acrylics... the text cut out then pieced together... it reads..."of coarse... i was worthless... a foolish character, alone with emotions... seeking guidance... but all i got was anxiety and depression... intense emotions... one girl... death... i need help."

why do i keep getting reminded of keith harring when looking at your stuff
the shadows look fine to me but i'm always doing things like that wrong-idon't think it matters anyhow especially in this case

ooh so nice in a primitive way! i like the roughness very much and i also dig the needles of pain, but you could work a tad on the shadowing, especially in the thigh area - the big shadow would normally be placed right under and behind the arm, not in front of the thigh, where the light source hits. well .. unless he had a skinny, caved in thigh, but even then the shadow would most probably be lighter. hope that helps!

its actually a guy... bent over on the ground kinda like "whyyyyy??" on the ground... depressed confussed and everything else... over "ONE GIRL" hehe

that is completely awesome! I love seeing natural media on devart, and this is a wonderful use of it. I really like the spikes (well they dont seem like spikes to me, but I cannot quite describe them) black aura coming from her back. I would like to see more from you. I have a few natural media pieces in my gallerie if you are interested. Keep it up!
