     Well, that's wrong and right at the same time. It's right because p is the product of mass(m) and velocity(v), so you get mv/m=v in which the 'm's cancel out and you get v=v. Despite that, it's wrong on how you get the velocity in real life situations. The correct way to get velocity is the quotient of the distance(m as in the SI unit, meter) divided by the amount of time(t) (m/t). It wouldn't make sense to use an unknown variable to get the unknown variable. You would just be back to square one until you get values for the distance and the time. Then, you have your velocity.

Would you release an editable version of this? I've been meaning to figure out how to get gradients work in Inkscape. Seeing what you did here would help. 

I've put an editable version of one of my pictures in sta.sh before. So that is how you could do it, if you didn't know already.
