I still say that Ocarina of Time should have been remade of the Wii, I could've looked like this, Nice Work!

Yeah I was expecting a remake of OoT for the Wii console rather than the portable 3DS, I think that would've had a lot more potential . A bummer really

Awesome how we had a similar idea, and posted nearly at the same time! I wanted to add statues in my image, but couldn't figure out just how to fit them in. After seeing this, I kinda wish I'd taken a slightly different direction to my own composition.

Yeah that's cool. I tried to integrate plants in my work as well but couldn't make it look like they really belonged there. I dig your render and how it looks like nature is slowly reclaiming the temple.
If I ever continue working on my piece I would probably give texturing a bit more attention I guess .
What 3D software do you use btw?

My scene was rendered in trueSpace (it's a free program now), but I know how to use 3DS Max and Vue. Just not as well as TS. And yeah, good textures and lighting make a world of difference.
The vines that are covering the walls in my image were made with a program called Ivy Generator. [link] Tweak the settings a bit and replace the leaf textures in your 3D software and you can make different kinds of plants.

Ivy Generator looks like a neat program, I'll most likely give it a go for future projects. Iām thinking about perhaps remaking hyrule castle or at least the courtyard from OoT, so it might come in handy there . I'm using Maya for all my 3d-work mainly because of the modeling workflow that suits me. I've got 3ds Max installed as well but haven't tried it out yet though.
