Amur Leopard, Minnesota Zoo. These cats have the most beautiful eyes. Sadly, there are more of them in zoos than there are left in the wild today. The good news is that sustained, heavy conservation efforts have brought their estimated population size from ~35 up to around ~100 individuals over the past few decades. Which is great! Beautiful animal and a wonderful photograph.
I was lucky enough to see an Amur Leopard a few years back atΒ Β Colchester Zoo.
