My sole seasonal shot for this year. Taken at the Lost Maples State Natural Area here in Texas. Quite a beautiful place. We unfortunately arrived a week late, so most of the maples after which the area is named had already asploded in red and lost their leaves. Only one tree remained on the entire trail we walked that was really, really red. Having come from mesquite and juniper country, it really was a beautiful sight. Wish we had gotten there earlier.
