Description
An Eastern Phoebe (Sayornis phoebe) sits perched in a juniper tree out over the Pedernales River at Pedernales Falls State Park in Texas.I suck at identifying birds on the fly (altohugh I'm getting better of late), so this was more for identification purposes than anything. The bird's pose was wonderful though, so I cropped it down, and here you have it.

Thanks. It's one of the very few decent bird photos I've gotten outside of a zoo to this point. I need a longer lens and/or a teleconverter to get closer to them, but I don't have the $4000 to blow on a decent long lens.
