Description
It was right after a rain when I took this shot, and the hyena was pacing around restlessly.EDIT (01-20-05): Slight color/contrast correction. Also moved it to the scraps section.

Sure. Just give credit for the reference if you post it online, and send me a link so I can come take a look.

Sorry for the late response. I haven't been online much the past couple weeks. Looks great, especially for your first time drawing a hyena.

As you may already have guessed, I took it at the San Antonio Zoo. I see you've taken pictures of the same guys, huh?

Actually, every time I've been to the zoo they're either pacing or they're sleeping. THere doesn't seem to be any in-between for them. First time I saw them, I was pretty excited too. They're pretty cool animals to see, though I think their enclosure could be a lot bigger.

probably lack of living space,
i make up for my terrible photography skills by geting dangerously close to wild animals!

Cool. That's exactly what I want to do when I get the opportunity. Someday I would like to go to Africa and see these guys for real. Maybe stalk some lions in the bush. Someday...
