In the beginning there's Davy Jones projected onto a sheet of water and a voice-over of him saying something. Then there's an animatronic Jack Sparrow throughout the rest of it with annoying voice overs of the "plot" (which is basically "where's Jack Sparrow?")...you don't even get to hear the whole song due to these new additions...
It might not've bothered me so much if that ride wasn't such a classic, you just don't touch the classics.

So they changed the whole the ride??? WTF????? As much as I love Jack Sparrow....his look really doesn't fit with that ride which has a great retro feel...Jack Sparrow looks super cool, but he is more of a realistic, gritty type pirate where the ride has the romanticized story book type of pirates.

Sheer, sheer brilliance. How a bunch of nude crap can get DD's instead of this is beyond me.
I think I'm one of the only ones who didn't feel disappointed with PotC 3. It just seemed to end so nicely, and especially with so much in one film.
Spiderman 3 was a bit of a let down, which is unusual for a Raimi flick. Though, I think they nailed the Sandman. Sad man
Still aint seen Shrek 3 yet. Which is sad considering I'm supposed to be all into 3D flicks... I'm slack.

i enjoyed Pirates a lot, and many did not.....
I was very let down by Spiderman3....I was so suprised that Raimi pulled a Joel Shumacher tried to pack so much in. If I could make a wish...Sandman (who was awesome) would have been the main focus...with Harry not being the Goblin....and Venom just showing up at the end of the movie to bring us into the next flick where he would be the showcase villain.
Shrek 3 was just kind of ho-hum....nothing like the other two which were great.

For me, "Pirates" had its moments, but it wasn't worthy of any particular third-party award. Spider-Man III was hilarious at all the wrong times, and we were rolling in the aisles during the "serious" parts

I did laugh at the parts when they showed Tobey MacQuire strutting like Travolta then bust into a dance on the street...that was funny....because it was so absurd. But the whole piano solo and dance number in the blues club...that was horrible.
Talk about falling into the "BATMAN & ROBIN" trap....trying to stuff 3 cool villains into one movie.... My friend and I were hoping that Venom would just show up at then VERY end to set up the sequel...man was I dissappointed.

thanks! I thought the only decent movie out of those three was "Pirates 3". Spiderman 3 was a HUGE let-down to me. What they did to Venom was a travesty. they fell into the Joel Schumacher Batman movie trap of "lets fit 40 villians into one movie! "

The Simpsons Movie beat them all though. Pirates was good, but they had to handle so much. It was a great movie, but Dead Man's Chest was the better film. So how about that tiger?
