I can't help,..but this "Control Node" appears to me as if it were hostile to foreign scouts. I would first have my little robotic-helpers make a very close and proper look and investigation before leaving my ship.
however the node's design is great. And Daz's latest starship-advertising looks good too (even though I am a bit disappointed to see that it has no proper landing chassis!).
And I like the cute little astronaut jumping a lot!

Well the probes have checked it out first.
Maybe it's actually an interstellar porta-potty which is why the astronaut is bounding towards it with such a sense of urgency?!
BTW, it does have a proper tripedal landing gear arrangement using the wings (with skids on the end that are not obvious here) and the base of the main hull. But sure, it'd still blow over in a high wind!

This may sound a little dumb, but I swear I've seen those same shapes (node, drones) as buildings in SPORE.

You're quite welcome I just finished using the prop you used for the node myself. It's a funky piece and you meshed it into your environment beautifully

indeed. I want to do more with 'em.. perhaps bring in a couple and flip and turn 'em.. make an arcane double-helix looking thing. Always fun trying things like that with models that are cool to begin with.
