This is quite amazing actually, and especially when I see it's nearly ten years old.

Rob, you've really outdone yourself. This is the best piece done with Photoshop I have ever seen. The model and composition are beautiful

WOW! Well thank you. This is a very old work, done around the first year of my messing with 3D. But it does hold up, I'll admit. I think I just got lucky as I still wasn't 100% of what was doing back then.

This is the exact kind of thing I've always imagined doing myself: putting on an EV suit and just sitting there, taking it all in in the peace and quiet
Amazi8ng piece of art, and well done

I have to agree with Chris about the suit, very classic look and done very well. Is the helmet/backpack something you made or found? Also the model has an A3 look to her or is that my imagination? The image, pose, postwork all came together in a most outstanding way! It may be one of your older pieces but it definitely stands the test of time and is a real testament to your abilities.

Thanks! Not sure I'd call the suit "vintage" as it still seems a bit advanced even by today's standards. Certainly on the surface of Mars suits can be a bit less bulky.... depending on time of year, of course

It was more the helmet that made me think of that. Kind of a Russian look. Plus a lot of artists do spacesuits that look like power armour this is more classic IMO.

This one's another touchstone piece for me. It was a very early work (of mine in the CG medium), but even now I don't think I'd change a thing. Luck o' the draw, I guess

Lovely mood, expresses "Solitude" perfectly.
For me it could be a scene from an unseen moment in "The Ballad of Halo Jones" a short lived comic from Alan Moore & Ian Gibson [link]

I never did read Halo Jones (and I wasn't aware she was an Alan Moore creation?!). Did it have a conclusion or just kind of stop? Maybe I should look it up at the local store, if it's collected.
This piece is a kind of personal touchstone... and was a lucky piece of work as well. It's a very early work by me, but I find it holds up well and still pleases/impresses me.

I'm aware this is a very belated reply, but Halo Jones just stopped.
I seem to recall that it had something to do with ownership rights, and recent years have shown just how delicate a topic that can be when Mr. Moore is concerned!
