The character of Boba Fett was first conceived as a kind of 'super' Stormtrooper - and initiallly had a white outfit. Even though the white armour never made it to the movie I thought that would be a cool look to draw.What I've done here is mix elements of Jango Fett's Mandalorian outfit with a Clone Trooper armour in an attempt to come up with a plausible reason for the armour to be white.
For the purpose of this picture... Jango is testing out the standard clone armour - but insisted on wearing his own superior body suit and helmet to protect his vital organs. He knew that the clone armour was being mass-produced cheaply and he didn't want to get killed on account of a test! It's a stretch I know!
If you've got a better excuse for why he might be wearing a white outfit - let's hear it!
This is an entirely original depiction of George Lucas's characters. First drawn with pencil then scanned and coloured in Photoshop with a Wacom tablet.

*Theory*
Since Jango was (if I remember correctly) also a consultant when it came to training and equipping the Clones, and also helped to design the armor, maybe he's wearing one of the early prototype suits to test out some new blast-proofing material? I know that a number of prototypes get used and re-used to test new ideas or features for adaptation, so maybe this picture is of such a case?

So he won't stand out, or so he will inspire a sense of unity with the troops he's commanding.

Sounds like a very plausible explanation for why he might wear this suit. But I can't help but think that he's too selfish to care about any of the clones (except Boba) - instead he just wants to try out the armour to see if it would be something he could use or adapt himself?

The way you blur the colors reminds me of an air brush. I mean a real one, not the photoshop tool lol. And the sharp edges look as if you masked the paper when you were spraying. I guess I mean to say it has a traditional feel to it.

For me, I was learning to paint with acrylics and photoshop at the same time. So they worked hand-in-hand to help me see things as color/ shapes. And you are very welcome!
