I'm a 'wanabee' Star Wars artist - I've never had anything published - so I when I think up a new picture I try to make it something that's original and presents a new take on familiar characters while also demonstrating my artistic capabilities...For this piece I imagined what might happen if the Predator had showed up during Empire Strikes Back in that scene when Darth Vader's telling the assembled group of bounty hunters to go look for the Millennium Falcon. I thought this would be a good scene to add some 'drama' to - because in the movie all we see is the characters just standing there. And I thought of introducing the Predator to the scene as the 'ultimate' hunter among a bunch of amateurs!
The Predator went straight for Boba Fett - realizing that he's the most capable of the group that Vader assembled. And he's serving up Boba's head to Vader as if to say "I'm better than this guy!". The other bounty hunters are all taken by surprise and are only just reacting to what's happened... too late! I think Vader would have known the Predator was there so isn't phased - he's just saying "You're gonna have to clean that up now."
The tagline 'Predator kills the Star Wars universe' is a play on words from Marvel comics' 'Punisher kills the Marvel universe'.
This is an original depiction of copyright characters that I don't own. Star Wars belongs to George Lucas/Disney, and the Predator belongs to 20th Century Fox (I think). This is fan art and isn't for sale or reproduction. It was drawn in Photoshop using a Wacom pad and is a very low resolution version of the original.

There's no way a predator would just be able to kill Boba Fett like that, at least not that damn easily.

You'd be surprised how easy is to kill somebody when they are not looking at you.

Well that's the thing. Boba Fett's got technology in that helmet that can probably do similar things to the Predator's mask.
And there's also the fact that Boba Fett's the best and most dangerous bounty hunter in the galaxy, so it's highly unlikely that even a predator could just kill him like it was nothing.

Β I find your lack of faith in Boba's abilities to be disturbing though. Then again, a sucker punch is a sucker punch, and no one would expect someone to break the bounty hunter code. Now nobody likes him.

Dude... Why haven't you made a short comic series of this yet?! I know you did that aliens and Star Wars mini comic, but one of this! Hey, if I were to write a fanfiction of this crossover, think I could use this scene and the part 2 scene in it? I'll give you credit for the scenes.

Glad you like. All i can say is -stay tuned - i do have a follow up to my Star Wars vs Aliens fan story and Predator features heavily but i just need to find the time to finish it. But if you want to do your own story - go for it - I'm only playing with these characters - they're not mine so there's no way i'd ever want to tell anyone else not to have fun with them too!

despite how awesome this is, im pretty sure a boba could kill a predator easily, he has far better tech and armor

I probably agree with -and I'd like to see Boba make a fight of it. The main reason for creating this set up though was for the 'shock' factor of depicting an encounter and outcome most fans would find surprising and to start some conjecture about 'what if'...
