Awwwww it's nice to see some nice slightly emotional moments in the middle of so many fights and tension. The Seras and Schroedinger alone moments are usually very cute here.

I do try to find the good balance between presenting the plot, character development and action. But I'm glad that my storytelling seems to be enjoyable.

seras is sweet at times, she doesn't want to frighten the little fella, although i wonder why seras doesn't have more familiars, i mean, she defeated zorin blitz, shouldn't she have her under her command?

Indeed, I really glad that I could show her caring/protective side of the character.
To answer your question, the reason why Seras has no other familiars is pretty much explained in the manga and the OVA.
First off, Seras is not absorbing her enemies:
When she defeats Zorin she says, she isn't going to drink "not one bit, not even a single microliter" of her blood.
Seras strongly believes that absrobing them, which means that they continue existance inside of her, would be too good for her enemies. That's why she refuses to eat/absorb her targets unlike Alucard
Second, it is unlikely to find another person who willingly becomes Seras' familiar:
The connection between Pip and Seras is very special, it is most possible that the only reason he could become her familiar soul is because they are perfect soulmates, which is stronly implied by Hirano in interviews. He said that "If Seras wouldn't have been a vampire and Pip wouldn't have been a Mercenary, they would be the perfect couple." Which means, that Seras and Pip fit perfectly together in their personalities, the only boundary has their "professions". Which boundary dissapeared after Pip became the part of Seras.
