what weave did you use for the underwire and support? One guy said to use E8:1 for the underwire which I find to be a pain in the ass to put together. Yours looks like a half-Persian 3:1.

More or less. I used ideas from a few patterns I found online, and based the size off a bikini borrowed from the model.

It's 14 gauge, which I think is about 1.6 mm thick.

It's just some plain old 14 ga. galvy steel; I'm thinking it's 3/8" rings for the majority (I don't have any right at hand, so I'm a little fuzzy on the details), plus some larger rings on the straps for the capture weave.
