It depends on how hard you're working on it...

I only have the time to work on a bit between work and school every now and then, so it took me about a month to make this bikini. If I was working steady on it I probably could have finished it in a couple days.

But as for a full turtleneck... wow, you're looking at a big commitment of time and effort. I tried starting on a short sleeve Hauberk (chain-mail t-shirt) and it took a month on and off to get one sleeve done.

But if she's really intent on doing it, then more power to her.

I think she's committed to doing one, but she's just starting right now. Personally I think it'll be awesome if she ends up making it. (It's for a cosplay for one of my characters who happens to run around in a chainmail turtle neck XD I still don't know what I was thinking with that. Chainmail is a pain to draw.)

Two things:

A) I filed all the links by hand to make sure there were no nicks or burrs. This prevents scratching and lets the links roll in place easier, to catching hair isn't really a problem.

B) She doesn't. I checked.

Uh, possibly... It would be difficult, though; I was working off one of missbunny's bikinis and I still needed to bring it to her for a custom fit.

Frankly, I don't have enough experience to make one consistently good. If you want a high quality one, I'd recommend getting one from somewhere like Chainmail & More ([link] ), or from a professional chainmail artisan at a renaissance fair.
