Description So, I know that, as production schedules go, these two roles were probably never intended to debut so close to one another.

I just think it's a little weird that they did...

He's also going to be Scrooge McDuck in next year's DuckTales TV series.

I would have loved it if the 10th doctor and Barty Crouch jr. joined in the last panel

There was only A spandex measured just for April in the ship.
That is all I have to say

Scratch the spandex: he had perfect EVERYTHING for EVERYONE! Each weapon, alternate weapons for Leo and Mikey (and maybe Raph, but I don't remember), and even levitating hockey pucks that explode and boots for Casey.
Either the Utrom have been extensively spying on the turtles for a long time, or somebody's psychic.

Well he was a Nazi interrogator in the Doctor Who audio story Colditz from Big Finish before he ended up playing the Doctor. And a simple minded fellow killed by Burke and Hare in Medicinal Purposes, another audio story.

Nice, the Doc needed to be in here along with his character from the kids show Tree Tom Fu. Then you'd see the range.

David Tennant, He's either the the Doctor, the good guy or the bad guy, either way he is a Brilliant Actor!

deathchrist2000 [2015-12-03 04:10:03 +0000 UTC]

Well, to be fair, David honed in that role when he played the 10th Doctor Who on Doctor Who. And yet he was never able to capture the essence of the character archetype after he finished his stint as Doctor Who. But then, few Doctor Who actors could play Doctor Who the way David played Doctor Who and it's hard for even him to play his Doctor Who.

Oh, I'm not criticizing.  I think David is a fantastic actor.  This is more just a comment on the oddity of having a very family friendly role debut so close to a role that is definitely NOT.

deathchrist2000 In reply to RobertMacQuarrie1 [2015-12-03 04:54:37 +0000 UTC]

Well, he does have experience with unfamily friendly roles hitting with family friendly roles. I mean, look at his time as Doctor Who.

Again, I'm not trying to criticize David Tennant in any way, or the two most recent roles.  I know he can do family friendly, and I know he can do more intense, adult oriented stuff.

I'm just pointing out the fun oddity in having the two extremes so close together.

I thought it was hilarious yet awesome that one of his first acts as the Fugitoid was to take the Turtles back in time.  But yeah, even though I knew Kilgrave was coming for quite a while, it's still unexpected he has these two characters of such far ends of the spectrum from each other.

WooFooGeek13 In reply to Wyote [2015-12-14 17:58:17 +0000 UTC]

now Fugitoid needs to say "allons-y turtles!"

           WHAT?

Dr. Who is the Fugitoid while also being KILGRAVE? He is the omniverse's greatest Time Lord
