Description
this was a sketch I did inspired by the ominous appearance of plague doctors and sinister spectres.

the plague eater is an apparition or entity that is vaguely known, often mistaken for a typical plague doctor or vagabond this being is most notably spotted at the bedsides of those stricken ill with a disease, and are on the brink of never awakening, he does not cause their death, but feeds through an unknown method upon the illness, an ominous ritual in which that what kills us, makes him stronger. and although he has removed what ails them the inflicted are too damaged to regain health, and so the plague eater moves on through the shadows, lurking about for his next task.
