Description Inspired by a Deep Eddy Vodka billboard I saw in Austin, Texas. Although there's no vodka in this image. Way too early for that.

Created for the Weekly Feature Theme: Bright Dawn

Thanks for looking!

Thank you!

Yep... or lie to her and say the water's fine and come on in... even though in the water and getting hypothermia.

Just kidding. I'd never do that.

I bet that vodka is hidden in a grandfather’s box and that the guys in the boat, under the seats, also have a bottle

Critique: I like everything, especially water, but the guy in a boat should probably be turned in the right direction - facing the river, otherwise he seemed to have already managed to give a decent pass and began to fish on the shore (

RobF4 In reply to GETSX [2020-04-22 11:15:20 +0000 UTC]

Well... there may be some vodka in that coffee cup too, but only she would know that.

Thanks for the critique... always appreciated. Looking at the image now, I realize that the boat is pretty close to the bank. In my past experience fishing for largemouth bass, I would position the boat about 50 meters from the bank and cast toward it, since the bass would feed in the brush cover normally provided by the bank. But since he's so close to the bank, yes... it would make more sense for him to be casting outward. Plus, I don't have a good 3D model of a bass... only a salmon, and I truthfully have zero experience fishing for salmon.

I know, right!

I mean... why would you be casting toward the bank when there's a huge fish jumping right beside the port quarter!
