Description
Lancaster B Mark III Special "P for Popsie" (ED909).Flown by Harold "Micky" Martin on the day of the infamous raid. One of the aircraft to be part of the first wave that attacked the MΓΆhne Dam.

Simple render, will have a composite done with the model pretty soon.

I just love Lancs. I had a model one from Airfix in the late 50's early 60's, but my Mum threw it on the fire because I had been playing with a table lighter and burnt the case whist holding it upside down. That was a lesson learned and it is still with me today. Great model and textures. What 3D package do you use, I use C4D.

Unfortunately not a lot of recognition was given to the bomber crews (especially when compared to their fighter pilot brothers), but conducting nightly raids into night fighter filled skies, they deserve all the praise they get.
