I understand that the goggles may be needed because of water pressure and speed, but they don't wear them consistently - that's what puzzles me.
They wear them for major behaviors, like Rocket Hops and Stand Ons, but not footpushes or other behaviors. Do you know why they do that?

I think because those go with a lot of speed and need perfect timing so they make sure they can see what happens underwater?

Yeah Marineland France trainers wear goggles for some reason, I think to protect their eyes because the orcas there do a lot of footpush behaviour underwater, and when you`re flying through the water with that speed it may hurt their eyes

I'll bet they get some speed.It kills your eyes sometimes when you dive in real fast.
