I know i don't often do these. but it's time to start exploring environments for my comic book. I was actually dreaded starting these but it turns out I actually had a lot of fun doing these. for better or worse that means more too come

I know how feel. I've fallen too much into the habit of constantly working on character design, and not really at all on designing my environments that I'll need to be familiar with in order to finish my comics. it's so intimidating!! But you did some great work here, and that helps me to be inspired to keep working! Thanks!

Dude you would be shocked to find out that each one took 2 hours to draw! pretty friggin fast! watch the Feng sketching environments Gnomon dvd and you will see how his approach is so fast and smart. if you cant buy it then find a download of it . it single handedly changed my whole perspective on drawing environments (pardon the pun) hehehe

For these types of environments you should really look up the movie 'Blade Runner', its a oldie but real good for high-tech sci-fi scenary

to be honest i just watched the Feng gnomon dvd's he put out and that really did the trick. i literally watched the vidoe on sketching environments and sat down and drew these two environments. i guess the secret is out
