So I guess the silver, black, and transparent red color scheme was firmly established at this point? I quite like that feature of the sets. The heavy use of silver for the bad guy weapons and vehicles is a great way to set them apart from the good guy weapons and vehicles, which use gold just as heavily. And the black and transparent red help them stand out as evil!
I like how these concepts have some of the same jagged motifs as the saw blades that are ubiquitous on the Nindroid vehicles and technology. Were these designed before or after the Techno-Blades?

These were before techno blades. And these are early, they didn't know what they wanted yet. It looks as though some of these actually influenced the final products. Nice to see!
