A/N: Sorry for posting this so late! This chapter isn't as full or long as it could be, as the song takes up most of this chapter. Now I see why they didn't write most of the songs in the Rainbow Rocks book! XD Oh well, live and learn, right? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

  Before I could react, Sunset spoke. "You're never gonna get away with this," she said. "Why? Because you didn't?" I sneered.

  I paced around Sunset just to make her uneasy, noticing she was a bit hurt by my words already.

  "Oh, we know all about you, Sunset Shimmer. You've got quite the reputation here at Canterlot High," I said.

  I made sure to dig up as much dirt as I could on Sunset, thinking we may end up at a confrontation like this.

  "I've changed!" Sunset protested, almost to tears. "I'm in a much better place now!"

  Aria joined in as well. "Waiting in the wings while your friends have all the fun?" she sneered.

  "Oh yes, you girls are so tight," I sneered. "And yet... they didn't ask you to be in the band."

  Aria came back with more. "Probably afraid no one would want to see them play if she was in the band," she sneered.

  "Too bad! So sad!" Sonata said with fake sympathy, popping up on either side of Sunset.

  The girls and I stood in the same places when this confrontation first started.

  "If it's any consolation, no one will remember you at all by the time we're done," I said.

  I walked next to Sunset and bumped her with my hip. Sonata did the same thing as she passed Sunset, though something tells me Sonata just copies what I do because I'm the leader of the band and she thinks just about everything I do is cool or impressive.

  As we continued down the hall, Sonata skipped up next to me. "Did you see that, Dagi?! I was so evil!" she said, grinning from ear to ear.

  "Yes. Commendable job, Sonata," I said.

  "But, just so you know, I was only doing that because you did it," she said.

  See? What did I say? She just does what I do.

  We walked backstage. The girls and I grabbed our microphones. I took the brief amount of time we had before our performance to remind the girls of something. "Remember, girls. We want to save the good stuff for when our full power is back," I said.

  Our pendants shined for a brief moment as we glanced down at them. The girls and I walked out onto the stage. This was going to be fun.

"Oh-whoa-oh, oh-whoa-oh~"

"You didn't know that you fell~"

  We walked farther out onto the stage.

"Oh-whoa-oh, oh-whoa-oh~"

  Now it was my solo.

"Now that you're under our spell," I said, before singing again.

"Blindsided by the beat~"

"Clapping your hands, stomping your feet~"

"You didn't know that you fell-"

  Aria and Sonata then chimed in with their voices.

"Oh-whoa-oh-oh-oh~"

  Next was me again.

"Now you've fallen under our spell~"

   I waved two of my fingers over my eye. I noticed the audience had begun swaying to our music. The girls came in again next.

"Oh-whoa-oh-oh-oh-oh~"

Next was all of us together.

"We've got the music, makes you move it~"

"Got the song that makes you lose it~"

"We say 'jump', you say 'how high?'~"

"Put your hands up to the sky~"

  Aria and Sonata chimed in with their vocals.

  Now it was back to me.

  I gestured to the audience as if to pull them in closer to me. Aria and Sonata chimed in again.

"Oh-oh, whoa-oh-oh~"

  Then it was back to me again.

"Captured in the web of my song~"

  Aria and Sonata came in again.

"Oh-oh, whoa-oh-oh~"

Once again, back to me.

"Soon you'll all be singing along~"

Back to the girls.

Now all of us sang.
