The commander of my tournament army and their spiritual leader, Chaplain Pius is one of the centerpieces of my tournament army. He's capable of inspiring incredible fury and devotion among his troops - he makes troops fearless and makes them reroll misses on a charge into close combat. I poured hour after hour after hour into this model, and it shows. This is the best model in my entire army, and tomorrow he will lead them into glory.Related content

amazing! just amazing. my sister (not the greatest of 40K hobbyists), paints some of her boyfriend's blood angels while i battle him, and one guy that she painted, she gave him big bulging eyes looking off in the distance.
anecdote aside, those are some of the best eyes i've seen. have you tried... is it Golden Demon or Golden Dragon? I need to soup up this one guy that my sister's bf let me paint and try to enter him. I'll have to ask her if i can borrow her camera to take a pic for here.

No, I've never entered a Golden Demon competition before. I don't think I'm good enough.
Let me tell you a secret for painting eyes. Use the cross method. After you get the face painted, but before washes and highlights, here's what you do. First, you paint a stripe of white from one side of the head to the other, covering the eyes. After the white dries, paint another two stripes, these will be vertical and through the center of each eye. Be sure to have the bar touch both the top and bottom eyelid, or your trooper will look possessed - which might be good if you're painting a Chaos model!
