I sort of made an updated version of this picture: robosquid.deviantart.com/art/T…Which is a three-year difference. Time flies fast, doesn't it?
I also tried out using a smaller brush size for their outlines, and I have to say I'm pleased with it. The outlines don't look as clunky, so I might stick with that brush size.
But on more important terms, these guys have been on my mind a lot lately. I really want to do something with them, and unlike many other ideas this one seems to be much more in my reach. The story of Todd and Monochrone is more comedic than some of my other ideas. There's some weird humor and action in it, but mostly it's meant to be strange and funny.
The original basics of it was that Todd and Monochrone were friends. Todd's the brother of a super-genius, and Monochrone is a robot who's origin is still undecided with me. I'm still a bit undecided about much else about them, but I'll get to it when I get to it.
I think I might just spend some time designing other characters from their world as well.
