Description
HD VersionFinally decided on the name for my Wuxia story. It's 月刀俠侶 and the character here is one of the major secondary protagonists, Hu-er (狐兒).
She's a thief that the protagonist comes across in his travels and after a crisis where they were forced to work together, Hu-er forces the protagonist, Yunte to become blood siblings. She tags along with him afterwards and joins the Wudang Sect alongside of him. Due to her lack of format martial arts training her skills seem to be a mixture a moves she's picked up in her travels, with her own variations added in making them unidentifiable.
I think this is the best coloring job I've ever done. I really tried to push things I thought were lacking in the Vim and Neko colorings and tried a bunch of new things. There are still some parts I'm not completely satisfied with but there's still three more characters to color so I'll work on overcoming them in them.
The logo is inspired by the Blade and Soul logo.
*UPDATE*
Added additional light reflections from secondary light source. Cleaned up the logo a bit and added a custom signature stamp.
Also, DeviantArt image auto scaling seems to make it look a lot blurrier than it should be. Please view the original 1600px wide version for a better look.

It seems like a lot of my watchers expressed interest in seeing a tutorial on how I painted the Saya x Saeko Fanart piece, so here it is. I'm going to break down everything into the basic elements so it's easy to follow along. However I can't cover everything as that'll take way too long and this is already running pretty long as it is. I'll save the finer details for future, more in depth tutorials
Lines And Setup
Composition
The first step is to set up the composition. I outlined Saeko first and Saya second. The two are on separate layers so I could play around with their placement. I also did some rotating of the two until I ended with the final look. During this step don't be afraid to play around with all the characters and objects, either with rotation or resizing to get the look that you want. It's best to keep

I might make one for the Saya x Saeka fanart request I'm almost done with. These were made with a bunch of stuff painted onto the wrong layers because I got lazy so it's hard to sort through it.

That is awesome! The hair styling was really smart btw!! I'm guessing you're Chinese from relating foxes to thieves xD. I have a similar fox character on my profile not in looks ( she looks totally different) but in idea. Thats really cool that somebody else has a simulator idea!! Nice! I don't really know what wu xia is but it sounds cool! I really like shonen is all, like wu shu and all that stuff.
Haha no that's not it but she is a supporting character i made if I ever were to draw a comic xD. I'm still in highschool right now so thats not really an option.

Wuxia is the Chinese fantasy/western genre that movies like Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon are known for.
Your character is cute, I like the middle hair style. The mask could work if you made it more like the Anbu mask, but with your own markings to make it more unique. Anyways, considering you're in high school you still have a ton of time to practice and get better, so just keep up the good work and you'll get to where you want.
